How to use Pulmicort Turbuhaler?

• This product shouldn't be shaken, and you shouldn't mix it with a spacer. When using the device, keep it upright.

• Do not use an inhaler if the mouthpiece has come loose or the inhaler has been shattered. You will waste the dose if the inhaler is dropped, disturbed, or if you unintentionally breathe into it after the dose has been filled.

• As directed by your doctor, take this medication once or twice daily. Use the device while taking long, deep breaths.

• Before inhaling, exhale through your lips, keeping them pointed away from the device. Retake a breath, but this time do it away from the apparatus.

• Allow at least a minute to pass between each puff if your doctor has prescribed two.

Drug Interactions:

How to Prime a Pulmicort Turbohaler?

Utilizing the brown grip at the bottom, hold the Turbohaler upright. The white cover may be twisted off. Twist the brown grip on the bottom in one direction until it stops, then fully reverse the direction while holding it in the middle.
